Everyone is exposed to low background levels of asbestos and other mineral fibres in the environment without any evident risk to health. There is absolutely no reason to be concerned about it. Exposure to asbestos fibres in homes and other buildings where asbestos is present and in good condition is not normally significantly different from the background exposure.
